5 Rings Group adopts hub-and-spoke model following predicted growth

5 Rings Group is currently going through a period of substantial growth, driven by diversification, regional expansion and customer demand for services.

In order to ensure 5 Rings Group maintains its exceptional levels of customer service, whilst providing the infrastructure for further growth, it will be adopting a hub-and-spoke business model.

Over the last 18 months, 5 Rings Group has invested over £250,000 expanding its Head Office capabilities, and is now able to provide increased levels of technical support for its customers. Operational and account management support will continue at a local level, but administration and remote support functions will now solely be based at its Head Office.

Commenting on the strategy, Group Managing Director, Pete Raynsford, said: “By centralising our remote support functions at our Head Office we will obtain greater specialisation and increased capability. This will combine with an increase in the number of field engineers and technicians in key territories, who will continue to operate on a local basis.

This approach to support and account management will allow us to continue with our growth plans. Further investments in staff, equipment, premises and training are also necessary and we see this as a natural prerequisite for our ambitious development plans.”
